Born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, Takayuki made his acting and modelling career debut as the winner of the First National Mr. Japan in 2013.

In Japan, he has appeared in various national tv series including GOMMENNE SEISHUN (TBS), HIGH&LOW (NIHON TV), PLEASE LOVE THE USELESS ME (TBS), the movie series HIGH&LOW (NIHON TV) and the Netflix movie THE OUTSIDER.

 

He travelled to Canada to study English where he realized his goal of wanting to become a globally recognized actor. 

 

In 2019 he made the major move to London to pursue this goal and since then has appeared in various commercials and tv/film including Tokyo Vice season 2 and SAFEGUARD.
